Suspected assassin of the Russian general says he was hired by Ukraine as he unfolds his plan an itinerary to inquiry commission.

An Uzbek national has been napped in connection with the assassination of the Russian two star general, Igor Kirilov. Report says the 29 year old suspect claims to have been recruited and mandated for the mission by Ukraine. General Kirilov was the commander of the Russian radiological, biological and chemical forces. In a communique, the inquiry commission that caught the Uzbek suspect announced that General Kirilov was killed together with his assistant Ilia Polikarpov.

According to the communiqué, the hired assassin explains that he was recruited by the Ukraine’s special services to execute the mission and he was provided with the necessary weapons as soon as he arrived Moscow. He explained that he was given an explosive device that he put in an electric scooter and placed near Genera Kirilov’s resident. It was thanks to a surveillance camera that was found at the pace where the suspect packed his rented car that the inquiry was fruitful.

54 year old General kirilov who was under United Kingdom’s sanctions for presumption of a chemical weapon used in Ukraine in the ongoing crisis is the highest ranking Russian military personnel that has fallen in the conflict since the beginning of what is called today the Ukraine Russian war. The war really broke out on the 24th of February 2022.

 Russia invaded Ukraine in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian War which symptoms could be felt since 2014. The invasion that is considered the largest and deadliest conflict in Europe since World War II has caused hundreds of thousands of military casualties and tens of thousands of Ukrainian civilian casualties.
